We allocate 1GB of disk space and 20GB of monthly bandwidth per site that you host with us, and allow you to use a "fair share" of CPU.

These allocations are pooled across all sites in your account, with excess usage charged at the following rates:
- Excess Disk is 97c per GB per month.
- Excess Bandwidth is 10c per GB.

Most of the sites that our customers host with us remain within those limits. If your sites exceed those disk or bandwidth limits, our support team will increase your disk allocation if you open a ticket, up to 5GB of disk.

However, if your site exceeds those increased allocations, then you'll need to optimize your site to use less resources, or find a more suitable provider for a larger or high traffic site.

Site Optimization

To reduce your site's disk, bandwidth and CPU usage, we recommend:

  • Installing hCaptcha to protect your login and comments page from brute force login attempts and spam comments
  • Disabling comments (reduces bandwidth from spam comments plus disk space used by those comments in the WordPress database)
  • Installing ShortPixel to optimize the images on your site
  • Disable access to xmlrpc.php via .htaccess rules (reduces bandwidth usage from brute force attempts)
  • If you're currently using Bulk Buy Hosting, then moving to LaunchCDN may help as the Web Application Firewalls included can protect you against junk traffic

Moving to Other Hosting Providers

If your site's traffic levels exceed what our service is designed for, we recommend services from the following providers:
