How are my sites allocated to servers?

When each domain is deployed, it is put on the server that has the least number of sites on it so far, based on both total number of customer sites (up to the maximum amount that we allow per server) and also based on the specific sites that you have deployed in your account.

Each time, it chooses the least used server that has the least number of your sites on it, and this often results in your site being deployed to a server that you don't currently have any sites on.

That way, your sites are hosted on the server with the most resources available to ensure that your sites load quickly, and there's as little overlap as possible in the event of any server issues/downtime, so that as few of your sites are impacted as possible.

You can see which servers each site is on by downloading the CSV file from inside your account.
