When attempting to add a new domain to your LaunchCDN account using the Cloudflare CDN, you may get the following error message:

Domain provided did not return a valid SOA lookup.

In order to deploy a domain to Cloudflare, the domain needs to be pointing at working name servers that are returning active DNS records.

You can choose to deploy this to another CDN, however if you wish to deploy it Cloudflare, please either set the domain to use the parking name servers at your registrar, or set the name servers on the domain to ns1.sedoparking.com and ns2.sedoparking.com and try again in 30-60 minutes.

This is a Cloudflare requirement for a domain to return a valid SOA record, and not something that we can override. You can read about this on Cloudflare's support site.

Your options are:
  1. Choose a different CDN from our selection, that doesn't have the requirement for a domain to return a valid SOA record
  2. Set the domain to your registrar's parking name servers, which will return a valid SOA record. Wait 30-60 minutes and try to add the domain again.
  3. Set the domain to the Sedo Parking name servers (ns1.sedoparking.com and ns2.sedoparking.com), which will return a valid SOA record. Wait 30-60 minutes and try to add the domain again.
