All hosting accounts on LaunchCDN are subject to predefined resource limits. These limits are strategically implemented using CloudLinux to secure your account and ensure that your site loads quickly.
On servers without CloudLinux, the potential for other users on the server to monopolize available resources (such as CPU/Processor, RAM/Memory, or Disk Access) could lead to performance slowdowns for other websites sharing the same server.
LaunchCDN employs the CloudLinux operating system, incorporating resource limits through an LVE system—a kernel-level technology integrated into the server. This system ensures that all websites hosted on the server have equitable access to a substantial share of resources.
The resource limits set by LaunchCDN are in line with industry standards for shared hosting. You can compare them to Namecheap (50% of 1 CPU max), HostGator (25% of 1 CPU Max), NameHero (25% of 1 CPU Max).
Our limits are:
CPU: 100% of 1 CPU core, 10% average of 1 CPU core across a 24 hour period.
RAM: 512 MB
Disk I/O: 10 MB/s
IOPS: 1024
Entry Processes: 20
Total Processes: 35
